It’s all right, it’s only a cat!

So that makes it OK then does it. Well obviously in this foolish woman’s eyes it does.
She picks up a poor helpless cat by the scruff of its neck, dumps it in a wheelie bin and calmly walks away.
Mary Bale, of Coventry claims the outcry had been blown out of all proportion, she says ‘I don’t know what all the fuss is about. It's just a cat.'.
I’ll tell you Miss Bale what the fuss is all about. It’s about you, and what you did. You make a fuss of a little cat, not because you liked it, but to put it at its ease so that you could for you own amusement pick it up and drop it into a wheelie bin, and drop the lid.
She says ‘I thought it could wriggle out on its own’ well! Let’s put her in a wheelie bin of proportionate size, and see if she can just wriggle out.
She is supposed to be an intelligent woman who works in a bank for goodness sake.
Her mother said she could not understand it, she is an animal lover. Christ! I’d hate to be one she hates.
The poor little mite spent 15 hours trapped inside that bin before it was found, can you imagine the trauma it went through in that time.
Miss Bale said she doesn’t know what came over her, does she often have these lapses. I’d hate to have her handling my account.
Causing an animal distress knowingly is a crime, and this is what she did.
Let’s hope the RSPCA throws the book at her.
